Blazon

A leather bound book Sable, strapped and gilt proper, charged with the gilt ivory Lion’s Throne of Solomon, on its seat an orb proper, on its back a Solomon’s Seal Argent the whole surrounded by the enarched Ge’ez text “Ethiopia Reaches Her Hand Unto God,” the throne ensigned by the Imperial Crown of Ethiopia Or; Motto: on an Escrol Vert fimbriated Or, above the throne “Preserving the Past” and below the throne “Protecting the Future.”

 

በጥቁር ቆዳ በተጠረዘና የጠፍር ማሰሪያና ቁልፎች ባሉት መጽሃፍ ላይ፤ ወርቃማና የዝሆን ጥርስ ቀለም ያለው የሰለሞን ዙፋን ተቀምጧል፡፡ በዙፋኑ ላይ ሰማያዊ ሉል የሚታይ ሲሆን፤ በዙፋኑ የጀርባ ማረፊያ ላይ ደግሞ የሰለሞን ማህተም ይታያል፡፡ ከዙፋኑ ጀምሮ ወደ መሬት የወረደ፤ አረንጓዴ ቢጫና ቀይ ቀለማት ያሉት ጨርቅ ይታያል፡፡ በዙፋኑ የጀርባ ማረፊያ ዙሪያ፤ “ኢትዮጵያ እጇን ወደ እግዚአብሔር ትዘረጋለች” የሚል የግዕዝ ጽሁፍ ይታያል፡፡ በዙፋኑ ላይ ጫፍ፤ ወርቃማ የኢትዮጵያ ንጉሠ ነገሥት ዘውድ ተቀምጧል፡፡ ከዘውዱ ላይ፤ የተከፈተና ያልተጻፈባቸው ገጾች ያሉት መጽሃፍ ተቀምጧል፡፡ ከዘውዱ ጀርባ በላይ በኩል ተጋድመው በቆሙ ሁለት ወርቃማ ቁልፎች ላይ ያረፈ፤ ዳራው ወርቃማ ቀለም ባለው አረንጓዴ ጨርቅ ላይ፤ “ታሪክን መጠበቅ”፤ ከታች በኩል ደግሞ፤ ከዙፋኑ ጀርባ በታች በኩል የቆሙ አራት ማዕዘን ባላቸው ሁለት ቅርጾች ላይ ያረፈ፤ “ማንነትን መንከባከብ” የሚሉ መሪ-ቃላት ተጽፈው ይታያሉ፡፡
