EJERSA GORO SCHOOL RENOVATION APPEAL
The Ethiopian Crown Council is organizing a fundraiser to benefit the Jarso Primary School, located in a small town in eastern Ethiopia near the city of Harar. Ejersa Goro was the birthplace of Tafari Makonnen, the future Emperor Haile Selassie I. The Emperor established the school in 1960, but that school is now badly ruined, and in need of complete reconstruction.
