Blazon

The gilt Ivory Lion’s Throne of Solomon, on its seat an orb proper, on its back a Solomon’s Seal Argent the whole surrounded by the enarched Amharic text “Ethiopia Reaches Her Hand Unto God.” The throne is ensigned by the Imperial Crown of Ethiopia Or, and thereabove an open Bible Argent bound Or between the Amharic letters አ, ወ, and አ. A drape Vert, Or, and Gules extends from the base of the throne, and in front of the throne the Moa Anbessa guardant proper turned to sinister, maintaining in the sinister paw a cross-topped staff Or, pennant therefrom a tricolored flag of Green, Yellow, and Red; and for Supporters: The Archangels Michael and Gabriel respectant, vested Or and Vert, on their breasts a cross pattée Gules; and for a Motto: In Ge’ez script, “The Conquering Lion of the Tribe of Judah.” The Arms appear on a robe of estate Gules, lined Argent, fringed and tasseled Or, ensigned with the Imperial Crown of Ethiopia Or, the whole surmounting a pair of olive branches proper.

 

በግራና በቀኝ ያሉ ወርቃማና ነጫጭ የአንበሶች ምስል ያለው ወርቃማ የሰለሞን ዙፋን ተቀምጧል፡፡ ከዙፋኑ ወንበር ላይ ደማቅ ሰማያዊ ሉል፤ ወርቃማ መስቀልና ብርአማ የሰለሞን ማህተም ይታያሉ፡፡ ከዙፋኑ ወንበር የጀርባና የራስ ማረፍያ ላይ “ኢትዮጵያ እጇን ወደ እግዚአብሔር ትዘረጋለች” የሚል የግዕዝ ጽሁፍ ይታያል፡፡ በዙፋኑ ጫፍ ላይ ወርቃማ የሆነ ትንሽ የእራስ ዘውድ ተቀምጦበታል፡፡ ከዘውዱ ላይ ወርቃማ ሽፋን ያለው ብርአማ መጽሀፍ ቅዱስ ‘አ’ ‘ወ’ ‘አ’ በሚሉ የአማርኛ ፊደላት ተከቦ ተቀምጧል፡፡ ከመጽሀፍ ቅዱሱ በላይ ትልቅ ወርቃማ ዘውድ ተቀምጧል፡፡ ከዙፋኑ ፊት ለፊት ወርቃማ አንበሳ፤ ከላይ ባለው ጫፉ የመስቀል ምስል ባለበት ዘንግ፤ የኢትዮጵያን አረንጓዴ፤ ቢጫና ቀይ ቀለም ሰንደቅ አላማ በግራ መዳፉ  ይዟል፡፡ ከዙፋኑና ባንዲራ ከያዘው አንበሳ ፊት ለፊት፤ “ሞአ አንበሳ ዘእምነገደ ይሁዳ” የሚል የግዕዝ ጽሁፍ ይታያል፡፡ ሊቀ-መልአኩ ሚካኤልና ሊቀ-መልአኩ ገብርኤል፤ ወርቃማና አረንጓዴ ልብሶች ለብሰው በግራና በቀኝና በጎን ቆመው ፊት ለፊት ይተያያሉ፡፡ መልአኮች ፤ ከላይ በለበሱት ወርቃማ ልብሶች ላይ፤ በደረታቸው አካባቢ፤ ቀይ የመስቀል ምስሎች ተሰፍተውበታል፡፡ በግራ ያለው መልአክ በግራ እጁ ሚዛን ይዟል፡፡ በቀኝ ያለው መልአክ በግራ እጁ የዘንባባ ቅርንጭፍ ይዟል፡፡ ሁለቱም መልአኮች በቀኝ እጃቸው ብርአማ ሰይፎች ይዘዋል፡፡ ዙፋኑ፤ ዳር ዳሩ ብርአማ የሆነ ጠርዝ ባለውና ውስጡ ደግሞ ብርአማ ገበር ባለው ከላይ እስከታች በወረደ ብትን ቀይ ጨርቅ በመሸፈን ተከብሯል፡፡ በኋላና በላይ በኩል ደግሞ፤ በግራና በቀኝ ያሉ ሁለት ትናንሽ የወይራ ዛፍ ቅርንጫፎች ከቀዩ ጨርቅ ላይ ታስረዋል፡፡ ከመጽሀፍ ቅዱሱ በላይ ካለው ትልቅ ወርቃማ ዘውድ በታች በኩል በሚታየው የቀዩ ልብስ ላይ፤ ወርቃማ ክሮች ያሏቸው ብዙ ተመሳሳይ ጌጦችና፤ ሁለት የብርአማ ክብ ዙሪያ መስመሮች ይታያሉ፡፡
