As President of the Crown Council of Ethiopia, I would like to extend my sincere and deep condolences to His Majesty King Haakon VIII, to the Royal Family and all the Norwegian people on the death of His Late Majesty King Harald V.
King Harald was an example to the world of dedication to duty, and a life of service to his nation and his people. The Imperial House of Ethiopia joins the Royal House of Norway in mourning the loss of King Harald V, and honors his memory and the distinguished legacy he leaves to his successors and his entire nation.
My wife Princess Saba and all our family pray for the repose of His Late Majesty’s soul and send our sincere sympathies to Her Majesty Queen Sonya and to the entire Royal Family of Norway on their loss. May King Harald V rest in paradise among the blessed.
